That's what we have to find out and that's what I would be targeting if I was running the club. I mean people showed up even though pretty much everyone knew that the All Whites were going out, yet I saw loads of people in All Whites gear on the train that I've never seen at Nix matches. Why then would these people come to se one team lose and yet would'nt go and see a team that's got a good chance of winning?

Was it the presence of a "big team"? Do some Wellingtonians just don't get/like the Nix? Is it because the All Whites only play once in a while?

Welnix need to to come up with a strategy that addresses the negativity and apathy surrounding football in this country as well as promoting the Phoenix in Wellington.

The areas as I see it are:

1) The Media, (that includes recruiting a spokesman who is not as polarising as Morgan).

2) Promoting matchday.

3) Improving the stadium experience

4) Relaunching to some extent the team brand.

5) Team investment. (Marquee players, etc).

I know Tony P has not had it easy since going to Sydney.but I think he was brilliant  with the Nix, I miss that connection that we had with the club.

What do people think?
