I understand over 10,000 tickets already sold for Eden Park. This means, given reasonable weather, the crowd could exceed 15,000. I hope Gareth Morgan doesn't feel this would be normal and further nudge his notion of investing in an Auckland A League franchise. I think Auckland has been fortunate in benefitting from a good run of form by the Phoenix at the right time.
OK one off effect etc .... but what if Auckland draws 15K + ... and next Nix's games at the ROF draws say 8K ... what is the message both sent and received by the owners...
