I remember reading before DK came that he wasn't much of a recruiter and failed in the UK because of it, he's used to the manager and coach being seperate. He preferred to be a pragmatist and build a system around players rather than players around a system.
Of course when he came he also said that he never was the full time manager at Stockport County and that he was the manager for a few games as a favor for a friend. So who knows what the truth is.
On one hand I like how blunt and honest he is, I like how he seems tactically aware and flexible, and I like how he can inteligently disect the game.
On the other hand is this team that much worse than the team that Greenacre and Buckingham almost took to the finals last year (and was also one of the higher performing teams for the second half of the season)?
Thanks. I was slowly recovering from the spectacle last night, and now I read your post and I am feeling much worse all of a sudden.
