Sorry now 13 with Krishna re-signing.

Players contracts expiring:

EXPIRES END OF 2017/18:

Andrew DURANTE
Scott GALLOWAY
Lewis ITALIANO
Andrija KALUDJEROVIC (f)
Matija LJUJIC (f)
James McGARRY (u21)
Michael McGLINCHEY
Daniel MULLEN
Goran PARACKI (f)
Matthew RIDENTON
Logan ROGERSON (u21)
Marco ROSSI (+1) (f)
Alex RUFER

Would re-sign Ridenton Immediately, his progression this season has been huge
  • Mullen is probably another keep. He's had some shocking individual errors, but has been solid enough I think
  • Durante should be given the opportunity for one more year if he wants it, although as a second choice centre back and maybe with some kind of defensive coaching aspect to it.
  • Honestly I would give Galloway another go. I know he has been terrible all season but we know he can be quite good as far as A-League fullbacks go when he is playing well. We saw it in the first 3 or 4 rounds, he was great. Depends on the players around him and the coaching and playing style is crucial to whether he is pants again or shows his worth.
  • Could maybe keep Wee-Mac but he would have to take a big pay cut, hasn't done enough over the past 3 seasons to warrant what would surely be a big slice of the salary cap, plus I wouldn't want him as first choice.
  • Have no qualms cutting the rest loose. Ideally we ditch 12 of the 13 and just keep Ridenton, but given the situation the club is in right now I don't feel confident that we can say with certainty that we'll sign 12 new players better than the ones we want to replace. 8 or 9 is much more manageable, despite still being almost half the squad.
