Surprised the job description doesn't mention that the head coach will need a pro license by the start of 2014/15 season, roughly 18 months away.
I suspect that some of the senior players are probably pushing Greenie to apply, but that's exactly why he shouldn't get it.
Greenie's performance over the last few weeks definitely makes him a good shot at staying on as an assistant though. Hopefully the new coach Lee Norfolk will see that too.

Umm, the A license is the level below Pro license? Or am I missing something?
Oops, I got that wrong. A-League coaches don't need a Pro Diploma (License?) until start of 2015/16. That's more like 2 and a half years away. Nah worries then eh?
