Paul Ifill was scathing in his review of Herbert at a charity dinner last night. Told everyone that Herbert was out of his depth, there was no accountability for poor performances and that he doesn't expect the All Whites to qualify for the world cup because the players aren't good enough.
Hmmm was told this by a friend who was at the event - will have to show him Ifill's comments! Sorry Paul :(

Tony Smith has said worse about Herbert in the press before, writing something on a forum having just been told that by a friend is hardly a crime. Obviously things were exaggerated, and I wish I had gone. Good on Paul coming down and helping out the Nelson Falcons.
I think Herbert was out of his depth and that we probably don't have the players to qualify for the world cup, it's hardly a big scandal.. Just wish I had been told the 100% truth.
