I can usually spot Dave in the crowd with his yellow bucket hat; so this will make it harder! I almost wore my "Phoenix my pint Ill FC'in kill him" shirt at the weekend for old time's sake! Going the retro, retro ricki look ;o)

Sounds like these hats need to be reversible.

Black on one side and yellow on other. That way you will keep everyone happy.

I've still got my reversible Export Gold bucket from the 90's... navy blue fabric on one side and dark goldish flannel on the other. Perfection.

Only problem with reversible hats is that if you have the black side out and then switch to yellow one day, you will find all the stains (that hats get) showing.

Reversible is unlikely as we need an already existing product rather than custom made.  Custome would put them out of a reasonable price range.

Keep the interest going folks.  We're chatting wityh suppliers and working out costs then we'll set up an order system if it's viable.

I am worried by this bucket hat love.

As some will know, I am a long time black bucket hat wearer from season 1 (or 2?).

That is, until the opening game of the season.  Losing 2-1 at home to Perth - something was not right.  Midfield composition? No traditional strikers? Wrong people at outside back? Aging centre back pairing?  I just couldn't put my finger on it.

Desperate, I thought ... maybe it's me!  Maybe it's the top I choose to wear, maybe it's the ........ bucket hat!

So I've ditched the bucket hat and reverted to my 2009/10 black box stripey + 2014 members cap.  Outcome - 3 straight wins, 10 goals for, 2 against (and I hear all this talk of tactical changes and the like having some impact. Ha! I know what's really happened).

I love the bucket hat.  But I hope you all know what you're doing.

I have retired the original stripey and have been wearing season 5/6 Away over YF t (last week it was Pass to Ifill).  Pretty happy with the result so far (but did get a good washing after Round 1).
