Kick off at 13:00 - the Ginger Eejit is refereeing.  Come down for a giggle.

that is a poor team.  Anyone remember the great sides we were putting out in the glory days?  We sure showed those stabbies a thing or two (although they did bring out their Aussie Rules team).

[QUOTE=Ballane]  Thats as bad as feverish saying he is sober or FM saying he has a job.

I actually have a job, and am just completing my first week of work.  Somewhat bizzarely, I am working from home today, so in exactly the same position I have been through 4 months of unemployment, but at least getting paid for it.

ande here you all were thinking that the guy in charge of the lettuce and tomatos at a Subway couldn't work from home.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Picking 8 goal granville is a brave move.

As long as we don't need him to keep, or score, we'll be fine.

How's my driving? - Whine here

Didn't see a single piece of Nix or YF attire today, apart from what I was wearing myself, 'tis a shame.

Same here, but given it's Korea and I haven't been anywhere but work and home today, somewhat understandable.

When the Melbourne boys played you lot it was like when the Bad News Bears played the Rich Kids team.We were a shambles, in sneakers and track pants and mis-matching jumpers, whilst you lot all rocked up in team shorts and socks and wore footy boots and shin guards ffs...

Luckily the Ref was as dodgy as a nine dollar note!

His traditional sympathies for the Bling better not shine through today...

Unfortunately 1-0 to Bling boys. Got close to nabbing an equaliser late on, but didn't nail it.

What Bling? All I got was a chance to wear the old wedding ring during a game if you can call that Bling! You lot were rubbish! Even the off the ball incident with the Eejit couldn't help you with dodgy X taking over the whistle.

Fractured talus tarsal, in plaster next 4-6 weeks. Looks like I'll be hobbling up the aisle in crutches.

Is the talus tarsal the new meta tarsal?
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

After seeing the pic (above) I felt guilty (for a second) for being flippant. So I followed the pic link to learn more...

the most proximal of the tarsal bones

the talus articulates with the medial malleolus of the tibia and the lateral malleolus of the fibula to form the ankle mortise joint

Best summed up as OUCH!!

How did you fracture your talus?

It must have been a sweet spot because it's not as exposured as the other bones despite it being a larger bone in the foot.AllWhitebelievr2008-09-28 00:23:20

We'll be hobbling, We'll be hobbling, we'll be hobbling down the road.
When you hear the noise of the Yellow Fever boys, we'll be hobbling down the road!

Well, it must have been a lucky bit of inversion of my foot in the pothole, so that all the weight transferred from my tib & fib to the talus, coz the doc when he saw the swelling was thinking broken tib & fib and that I would need an op to rod and pin it.

I was going to say that the Tib and Fib would usually be the weak points around the bone head, but if it was all the weight was flatly downwards at that precise point with no sideaway movement then it save you from breaking the two bones of the Tib and Fib rather than the one bone Talus.

To be honest, that must have been the lesser evil of the two scenarios, better outcome for you in terms of less hassles in playing football later on. You still got some years left then.

Oops - must stop using Nice Effort's log-in - from Chelski Liz.

Is that Doctor AllWhitebelievr ??

Good clip was shown on Sportsline on the Sky News channel last night - including interview with Eejit and very good close-up on impressively swollen ankle.  I've tried looking for a clip on the net, but I don't know what I'm doing, really.

Take care Eejit!

Well we tried hard and made a heap of tackles, we didn't possess much goal threat unfortunately. I didn't axe any of the Sydney lads as they seemed liek a pretty good bunch, I was more tempted to go in two footed knee high on Tony Morrison the dirty traitor!

Anyway it was a good laugh

Get will soon Eej.

As someone who fractured his medial malleolus a few years back (see, I can drop some medical jargon in as well) and still has two pins in there, I sympathise.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

As Eejits personal physician i can inform all concerned fans that the patient will make a complete and fool recovery of himself from   the bone fracture , the prognosis regarding the the far more serious condition of Hibernian supportaratitis is unfortunatly incurable ,suffice to say our sympathys go out to all his long suffering friends ,family  and colleague's!!   Kiwi Jambo2008-09-29 12:38:57
