Today I was pretty appalled at some of the nonsense that was chanted from some of the supporters (usually one or two in total, however one was an influential forum member here), in particular in relation to the DJ who was playing music (hang the DJ, death to the DJ ... something along those lines) and the continual use of the word "c**t" when chanting to some of the Glory players. I've spoken to other casual fans following the game who were also disappointed at the crap that was chanted, mentioned similar occurred in Napier.

To be honest, aren't we better than this? I feel that this group is exceptional to be involved with on match day and make the footballing experience complete, but I think this is soured by what i've stated above and will stop a few casual fans from returning. I don't want to have to go to these games and be subjected to that type of abuse that is hurled out, and i'm sure others don't too.

Any chance we can be a bit more aware and think before we start yelling?

Cheers
