Pay per view is the dumbest idea they could have done.
It is a pre season friendly FFS, barely anyone will pay to watch those, I can guarantee you I won't.
The dumbest thing is that they have missed a HUGE marketing opportunity, had it been FTA or on SKY they could have marketed the absolute shit out of season tickets and merchandise to a large TV audience but now they cannot as people won't be watching the game.
I'm gonna be looking for dodgy streams, if none are going (which they will if it's in the UK, Aus, China etc) then I'll do something else.
