I would be. But decided to pay more and go up to see it live.

$25 to see the game on tv, $150+ to fly up to Auckland for the night to see it. Tv seems like a bargain to me.

Another $15 to see all of the games on tv, even better.

$10 per game on tv vs airfares and accommodation for Auckland and Dunedin.

Especially for a game like this, the atmosphere will be absoultely fantastic to go to. I'd happily pay the money to actually go to the match if i could, but watching on tv a match which is just a pre-season game for 40 bucks doesn't seem like a great deal to me. It's not a terrible deal, but it's not likely to encourage union and league fans to watch.

Also the weekend it's on isn't great. Super rugby playoffs plus the first weekend of the Comm games (don't laugh, some people watch it).
