crowd size was good for the circumstances, actually very
impressive.. the weather looked miserable.
great goals by the phoenix, the corner from Daniel for Aloisi's goal was stunning, extreme pace and dip, Aloisi barely had to do anything.
also the refereeing was once again appaling, the cards were almost all shcokers, except johnson
Daniels was a joke, literally a joke, barely even a fowl. he went at the guy with the ball, glory player got rid of it with daniel a few metres away Daniel hits the brakes, turns around, wet ground causes him to slide into said glory player and the referee thinks its a fcking yellow card???!!!!! he wasnt even looking at the player.

I have to be a little bit controversial in that I possibly don't
think I would have awarded Aloisi his goal.
I saw the replay from behind the goal and then side on in slow mo and it kinda looks like he obstructed the keeper before the ball got there. Have to see it again to be 100% certain but that was just an initial gut reaction. If anyone has any footage on to post on You Tube.....

sh*t im glad i went to the trouble of asking the neighbours if i could borrow their telly for a couple hours this afternoon, WHAT A MATCH!!!
As any fan would i thought that hex we put on them was coming
to the fore when Perth got that opening goal, a first in over 11
hours or something like that. Then, what a ball from the corner
from Daniel!! If you wanna be negative you could say that Tomich
should of claimed it but who cares!?!?
Once we then got that second goal we started to assert our
dominance over Perth. Our defence O'Dor in particular seemed to
have sorted out any miscommunications they had with Moss, our
midifield dominated i thought Aloisi and Johnson had brilliant
games. We got the ball wide and looked threatening when doing so,
scoring off 3 crosses and a corner. Smeltz and Covs played welll up
front, glad they both got a goal and well done Lochhead for
grabbing an unlikely goal at the end.
Finally to cap it off it was great to see Tim Brown back out
on the pitch, something that not only Phoenix but All White fans
can relish with the World Cup qualfiers starting in about a
fortnight.
