you'll have to make sure you're at the 4Kings for the final Stopper

I'll definitely be in some pub somewhere for the final but it wont be the 4Kings unfortunately.

Sounds like CCM have gone off the boil a bit. Wouldn't surprise me if the Jets pinch another.

yeah, i missed the first 35 mins

but on on  this half I'd say Jets are good for their lead (unfortunately)

That was a great covering tackle from Durante.  We should sign him!

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Mariners seem to being playing with a bit more vision since Gumprecht has come on

We should sign him too! Rumour said we were, as I recall.

Somewhere in the distance I can hear HN yelling.

You'd have to think CCM are toast for this season now. Very disappointing for their fans.

"How many fouls does Joel Griffiths get away with?" says the admittedly biased CCM commentator.

they'll get another bite in the prelim final won't they?

they'll need it i can't see jets letting the second leg get away from them

Shame Aloisi isn't as good as his gobbing off is. I think he needs to attend a few anger management courses. Sure he gets fouled but so does every other forward.

Another chance, yeah, but psychologically CCM are on the downhill slide and have been for quite some time. I'll be very surprised if they get to the final now. Happy if they do though.

as you say Stopout they might be feeling a bit shaky,

they probably need to emerge with some credit from the second leg and move on from there

on what i saw they weren't outclassed and on most days they would have gone in 1-1 at half time
and perhaps held on to that, they certainly wouldn't have needed to push up  like they were when they got caught for that pen (from the unfortunate Gumpy )

The way things stand - most likely is play-off between CCM v Sydney to play Newcastle in the final.  I assume that Major semi loser gets home adavnatage in playoff.

Does Major semi winner get home rights, even if higher placed team gets into final?

I know, I know, its serious!

2-0 to the Jets....into the grand final

Last time they played the mighty Phoenix we wumped them good and proper 3-1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another leg still to go.  And as you pointed out they bottled it against us (although 3-2 from memory)

I know, I know, its serious!

Never mind Gumpy (great name!) - it's Midfielder I feel sorry for. I reckon he'll have a lump in his throat for an entirely different reason tonight....

Ordinarily, yes....but the FFA have decided that neither Newcastle or CCM can host the final because of their small ground capacity.

The final will be in Sydney - either at ANZ Stadium or the Sydney Football Stadium.

dear me, aloisi dissalowed goal in 1st half was never offside and i certainly think gumprecht got some of the ball. and the jets are cheating fuking c**ts so undoubtedly he dived. just my thoughts, now bak to the tennis
