Enjoyed it fellas - however, my legs are complaining bitterly...but probably not as much as LGs hamstring.

Good to meet a few of you guys. My form was terrible but it was fun regardless.

Hopefully it becomes a regular fixture.

I couldn't believe my luck. loved meeting you all and good to see so many show up. I've seen the new Blues Mobile/yellow Fever Monster.

Harry. I've packed it on ice but feeling it go, tells me I gotta problem. Off to the quack and ACC tomorrow.

Worth the injury, everyone was having such a fun time.

Still I lasted 70 minutes in the heat! The rest of you lasted 90 minutes! Well done everyone.

Is that how long it was? Jez it felt like hours.

Harry, most of you didn't even take a break so in that heat, it really was a top effort by everyone.

Next up a friendly kick-a-bout with the Nix - once they hear how cool it was, they'll be asking us if they can join in our fun!!

Compression bandages lads.  Answer to all pains.

The longs socks are just to hide the one on each calf, not because it's a look I particularly like.

Sounds like a it was fun unfortunately her indoors just didnt believe i was only going to watch and she said there was no way i was going anywhere near town. Probably best as much prefer to have my scheduled visit to hospital than an unplanned one.

turns out my tumble at the start was worse than I thought - quite a sore wrist at the moment. hopefully it's better tomorrow as opposed to worse.

otherwise, a great time.

Yep, looking all go for next week. Just need to find a park and check if there is cricket on or not.

There was cricket on yesterday because they moved it all from saturday because of the sevens, it's the same deal every year.

Some great injury stats so far from the YF kick arounds.

Sounds like petermcc's sex life is ruined for the near future with his wrist injury.  And my mate Tim who came along the previous week can still not walk after standing on the ball and rupturing the lateral ligaments in his ankle.

Fabulous.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Will let you know

I'm still recovering form 7's so couldn't make it sorry.

Sounds like it was a blast though.

Who won? Who scored? Did Smithy bobsled someone? Did Feverish pass?

Smithy? Smithy wasnt even there! We were stuck with cones as our goals.

Where are youse playing next weekend? And someone tell me what the standard of play is like, be honest! I would like to show up for a muck around, but am worried my distinct lack of ability will stand out like dogs b*lls

There are no superstars here. Its just a fun kick around, if you stuff up no one laughs or anything. Just come.

It's a pity no one gives advice when you muck up.

Lonegunmen was giving me advice when I was defending. None of it made any sense to me, but I tried to listen.

Do you play positions or run about like indoor on the waterfront? I play that... and it's quite primo except for the useless egg chasers who come along and kick the sh*t out your shins

Not set spots.

Some of us more used to defending lurk in defence, others are up front.  Chops and changes.

Sweet loving it. At indoor i like to muck in at the back so people think im doing my bit. As soon as I get tired (5 minutes in) i laze around offside and grab the tap ins. It's a great cycle, i feel well-fulfilled after the match...

No one gave me any sh*t when i injured myself. I'm still pissed off at myself trying to be clever with a donkey kicj. Grrrrrrrr

Otherwise a brilliant fun day and i don't mind showing up just to watch - till I recover.

Don't worry Harry, you have plenty of years to learn from my advice. As a goalkeeper on Sun, I was talking to you and 007 to cover in defence rather than man to man marking. That way you force them (The opposition) to do more running in the heat.

yea it was good the better dudes could have easily got annoyed at the rookies like myself (in the blue basketball singlet) who cocked up more often then not, but everyone was good about it. also sorry to the guy in the real madrid shirt i crashed into.
