Degenerate
I'm amazed at all the negativity.

First game of the season, in horrible conditions with a very inexperienced and young squad - yeah the performance was average but they ground out a point with a couple of decent chances.

The squad will progress as the season goes, so I think this is a decent first up result.

Don't know about "negativity".  We just do not want to settle for mediocrity.
Also, consider that the team was not "very inexperienced".  All the players we had on the park played last season and are not new to the team. It was more to do with the loss of key players in the offseason (Davila, Hemed, Devlin, Taylor). Taylor's 'retirement' case aside, our inability to retain such good players, COVID or not, is going to take some fixing, and it will not be a one-off problem.
