What happened to the simple offside rule?  Play used to be stopped the moment someone - anyone touched the ball. Now we let at least 4 or 5 other players touching the ball - including a defender, who tried to clear Davilla's effort and put everyone onside. But wait, let's go back 30 seconds to see if we can find something. Oh yes, a "possible" 5 MM's off side. At normal speed, under the old offside gauge, no one would have worried.

Strebre Delovski needs to resign because his interpretation of these new (I assume it's new) and has been passed onto the inept match officials under his guidance, continually seems to fudge over far too many teams in games. You might as well cancel Dukes awesome strike out for the very minor contact push he did a split second before scoring his goal. In the name of consistency that is.

Is this game all about referees now and them wanting their moment of attention or about 22 guys trying to win a game? One would think it was the former, not the latter.
