From before our loss to Sydney on a Monday night earlier in the season

So yeah, we are doomed here.

Doom, gloom, glimmer of light, the train (you know which one) is picking up speed through the tunnel, put on your dark glasses, the light is getting bigger, brighter, here we come into a new era of Monday history

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

Only takes one game to break a trend. Time to break the non-win on a Monday trend, WSW will be a tough nut to crack, but with Waine and Ball coming into some scoring form and our defense working well I think we have a chance

WSW at home to good to strong and are on a roll plus manic Mondays will always be our down fall. I'm gonna go to this game so who knows i might bring them (Nix) some luck.

So yeah, we are doomed here.
Yeah now played nine with three draws and six losses. Although if you look at the actual games you can see why we've done badly;
- No home games
- Almost half the games have been against Victory in Melbourne (where we have won 4 in 25 against the Victory) and another 2 have been against City in Melbourne ( Our record in Melbourne generally is  7 wins in 44)

On the other hand we've never lost on a Monday when Ben Waines been on the field so...

I expect we will start with the same XI as last game. Don't see any reason to change things. With Devlin giving some high energy impact off the bench. Talay might be tempted to give Hemed 45 minutes, the only way he's going to get match fit is to play.

Rather see Ngoy get the 45min but will settle for both to come on.

who do you not pick from that group?
13.Charles LOKOLI-NGOY?
4.Te Atawhai HUDSON-WIHONGI
15.Mirza MURATOVIC
would be my guess, the subs will be something like :
Sotirio to come on late in the game for Waine,
Hemed for Ball (maybe late)
Ridenton for Lewis at some point.

Surely if Devlin isn't starting he would come on ahead of Ridenton?

oh yeah good point, I ignored that Rufer/Lewis starting meant that Devlin would come on as a sub.

In a couple of games Talay was subbing Davila off late in the game. It may be that Ball will stay on but Davila come off for Hemed, depending on how WSW packs their middle.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Does anyone know if we are being deliberately excluded from the MyFootball youtube channel for our games. The last two games haven't been shown on there.

Come on boys. Another win and a clean sheet to get me through this 12 hour shift would be very  much appreciated.

Fenton injured in the warm-up, Devlin comes in. Rufer to RB? Rufer to CB, and Payne to RB?

They had a technical issue and that has been fixed, all games are back live on YouTube

Bugger. Too many strikers on the bench and not enough CB cover?

Beautiful finish.  How good was the vision from Rufer to just find him over the top in space from the free kick!

Quiet thread. Think everyone forgot about the Monday match. We are looking very good so far... Hopefully Fenton's injury is nothing serious given his history.
