It was just the best to be with the Mexnix/Phoemex crowd - i didnt realise until this morning that his mask was a phoenix mask -how good is that - I hope you heard us -gutted to lose but we sang and cheered and it was like someone had written a sports movie script , and the good guys lost right at the end..

Big congrats to all the Wollongong, Mexican and Israels Fans who support the team yesterday in their own unique way. This is so great to see, this what football is about.
"Lucha libre" - Mexican wrestling culture.
Fantastic effort to make a mask with the Phoenix emblem. The saxophonist was there again as well I saw. Handy that both Davila and Hemed scored last night.

If I'm honest, Hemed rushing off to celebrate his pen with those Israeli fans first, rather than his team mates irked me initially. Especially given Davila who has a great record with pens for the Nix, unselfishly didn't seem to agrue the point. But then read that Hemed had personally invited that group of Israelis/Jewish folk, so fair enough, to jump over and give them a few Star of David flag selfies.

Anyway cool Nix has some fans away from home. Imagine if they had a guy from China on the books, with apparently 250,000 people of a Chinese background spread over NSW.

But the one game we don't get to see the Devlin whanau (unless I missed it), he bangs in a screamer.
