First of all, I think the penalty that was not given, changed the game. Clearly, a lot of heads dropped straight away. Sotirio was a surprise starter for me. While he does have pace to hurt slow defenders, Bogaard and Topor-stanley are experienced defenders. They dealt extremely well with Sotirio. Still would've preferred Lewis over Sotirio. He's got a bit of pace, but also technical ability. Hemed a frustrated figure. The service to him was very poor. Payne, instead of running at defenders all of the time, should try to cross it in. McGarry was great today. I think it is time to get TAWH at CB instead of Laws. While Laws is a fantastic player, TAWH has a bit more experience at CB, and can read the game a bit better. Fenton was brilliant off the bench. He brought energy as well as more crosses. So many chances, but no goals from open play.  Hemed comes near post, yet we cross far post. STILL A TEAM IN PROGRESS!

Sorry to say, but I don't see how we can beat CCM next week.

Our pressure at the start came from their inability to deal with Sotirio IMO?

I had the kind of opposite feeling- liked McGarry, but wished he'd try to drive into the box occasionally instead of crossing every time. The movement in the box shows the front 3 havent played together enough.

Laws found out for the goal, yeh- open to TAWH, but think Rufer back would mean more drive and leadership and also Ridenton as a sub, where he was effective.

Think we missed leadership today that Taylor and Libby used to give, Rufer out and Marinovic had a weak game. Devlin was huge, but just the difference in squads and we missed a host of good chances.
