I agree, it's not funny. It's really sad to see what's happening in Israel and Gaza.
We have a very multicultural team and I hope it stays that way. I think in the current circumstances Hemed should put the flag waving/nationalistic celebrations away this week.
Still hope he scores a brace though. 2-0 to the Nix.

Hemed is going to drop bombs on the Melbourne City team, just like his country-men are inflicting on Gaza. I expect him to score a brace in a 2-0 away win for the Nix in-front of all the new Nix converts from North Caufield. FC
Not funny. You'd hope in some little way, somewhere football could be used for good to reduce Arab/Israeli tensions. Stupid careless comments like those above don't help.
yeah the whole thing is a mess, if you follow Hemed on instagram you can see he is very much for the Israeli cause, there's not even a hint of balance in what he posts, he's totally on the side of Israel being the victim of the attacks - which I find disappointing.
