this may be a bad idea and possibly knocked back quickly, but maybe we dont boo Rudan when he comes onto the field, given he was so keen to come to NZ as soon as the bubble was opened, he kinda deserves a clap especially after Perth were like "hell no we wont go"
Then normal business can resume once the game kicks off.
Debate for another day perhaps. And yes whole sordid Mel M saga, does show Rudan is an unhinged weirdo.
But from a Nix perspective, he turned around the Nix when it was in a bad way, got them to finals, had the crowds back, bought some good signings to the club who are still there, and recommended Talay as his successor - which has worked out great.
Then he took with him an aged captain (who may have been a bad dressing room influence??) in Dura, and a keeper in Kurto who is really no better than Sail or Marinovic (freed up a visa spot). Burgess was definitely a loss, but no gtee he would have stayed in Wgtn long term anyway. Certainly David Dome in interviews has dismissed any real club anger at Rudan. Yet he's happy to vent a bit towards Gallop & FFA. Get feeling that with hindsight Nix consider Rudan was the right man at the right time, but likely happy he's gone!
