Row cc Aisle 22. Been back there 3 games and we have won 3 games. Makes me wonder if I am the lucky charm?

Mustve been what Tyler Boyd was talking about!

I must admit to being uncomfortable with the "Praise the Lord"/"Saluting the heavens" comments/gestures which seem to be the 'de rigueur' response to many top sports performances. I could understand it, if every time they had a bad performance they'd curse the devil just as publicly, ideally in a John Cleese/Basil Fawlty style

if it his faith why should that make you uncomfortable?

I'm uncomfortable with expressions of faith in a post-match interview when it's a team sport being played by players with differing religious beliefs, creeds and varying levels of faith/devotion.

Absolutely this.

It infers that he believes that "god" helped him/rewarded him for his faith, or that he could not have done what he did without god.

Which infers that he believes others who do not believe in his god are not getting such help/reward.

Which infers that he believes others in his team who do not share his views are being disadvantaged by god.

Which is disrespectful and/or discriminatory.

Not to mention it is ridiculous and does not stand up to logical scrutiny to infer that god affects the activities of the faithful in sports (or in any other part of life).

I find it offensive.
