I'm uncomfortable with expressions of faith in a post-match interview when it's a team sport being played by players with differing religious beliefs, creeds and varying levels of faith/devotion.
If it's someone's lifestyle to praise Jesus Christ, Buddha, L. Ron Hubbard, God Almighty under his various aliases of JHVH, Allah, Vishnu, or the damned Flying Spaghetti Monster, I don't care as long as they don't tell me I have to do the same thing. I don't share Rory Fallon's bizarrely superstitious beliefs, but apparently believing in Jesus got him off the booze, which must be good.
Let's put it this way - when I see a European player make the Sign of the Cross after scoring a goal, or the Palestinian national team bowing in prayer on the centre circle before a game, I think "awww, that's sweet", rather than being offended at all. If they started yelling at me that I was immoral for wearing short skirts, then I'd be offended.
Rory Fallon might get ridiculed as a footballer by some but as a person, you can't fault him for being a nice guy. If that is a product of his faith, I'd rather that than being just another drunken lout footballer so it does not bother me. If he wants to bash his bible and Tyler wants to praise the Sun God of Rah, go for it as long as he is not telling me I have to do the same. Besides, he seems like a nice kid and like Rory, if that's a product of his faith then I prefer that to some smarmy little shark footballer that is all mouth and no trousers talking about how the "2 goalz showed his reel skillz and Ernie can eat a dick y'all."

not looking to nit pick... football forum and all that but I believe Ra may have been around since the 2nd dynasty, although in true rumour style dont believe that he was a decent left back who played for heliopolis.
