Oi Fever what are we doing?

It's Movember and time to make a difference. Movember’s aim is to raise vital awareness and funds for men's health including prostate cancer and male mental health. I want to  collect money from the Fever Zone as I've bloody well been through hell and back at times with this.

My commitment is to grow a moustache for the month of November,  AND to complete the Taupo Enduro 320km bike ride on 24 November. That's twice around the lake folks. I knew I could comfortably do the 160km so needed a bigger challenge. The preparation has been a challenge physically and mentally. This ride is in support of Movember so please give what you can afford.

The size of the donation isn't important, every little bit helps.  If you want to know more about what you'll be helping to fund, you can visit http://nz.movember.com/about/funding-overview/.

To highlight the importance of what I am doing, take a look at these statistics:

*1 in 10 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime
*This year 3,000 new cases of the disease will be diagnosed
*1 in 8 men will experience depression in their lifetime

I'm asking you to support my Movember campaign by making a donation by either:

Donating online for me at http://mobro.co/robtheedge

*Writing a cheque payable to 'Movember Donation Fund,' referencing my Registration ID: 14312 and mailing it to: Movember, PO Box 12 708, Wellington 6144

Thank you in advance for supporting my efforts to change the face of men's health. All donations over $5 are tax deductible.
