Cornthwaite def. looked like he was accusing Fabiano of spitting on that replay. I guess we'll know for sure afterwards, but it certainly takes the shine off a top fixture.

if you get to see another reply you can see some spit.  I goes past cornflake and you can see it better against the black background.

Fair enough. On this streaming his spit would've had to have been the size of the ball before I'd see it :)

Not a good look for the code.

If one of my players spat on anyone I wouldn't wait for the appropriate authority to issue a ban, I'd do it myself. You can taunt, say what you like but spitting is a health hazard and is not on from anyone.

Hernandez knocks a free kick from sideline and 30+ out, hit cross bar- keeps would've struggled!

Go Archie!

Very good play by Melbourne considering they're down to 10.

Yeah commentators saying just how disappointed Merrick would be in him. Will be interesting to see what ban he gets- esp with a bit of coverage being given to spitting in other oz codes over the past couple of weeks. McKinnon (Warriors) got a 3 week (I think?) ban for supposedly spitting in the direction of a touchy- was miles away and very disputable. Horse Fabio just spat right at him- could (should) be lengthy.

Both teams with decent opportunities, Victory looking sharp when countering, Adelaide with a couple of chances. Minimal really to talk about apart from that, no sitters missed, not rubbish, but not a great game. Red card was pretty major though!

That is shocking Tigers. This game is boring me. How come these two teams could not play like this when they were up against us?

Best part of that is that Muscat loses his perfect A-League penalty record! He was 17 from 17 before that one!

For a 12 year-old, hamberger is pretty decent. Ogenovski (I think) possibly unlucky not to get another yellow.

Western Bulldogs v Sydney Swans a much more entertaining game to be watching!

Good period of pressure by Adelaide, couple of corners and threatening crosses. That's about it. 75 gone.

Archie almost makes it two.

25k at the same time as an AFL final is pretty damn good for Melbourne.

Haha and that. Get up The oh clitis, what a pansy. Diego takes him out, nobody else around. Commentator: Breeze does well to position himself between Muscat and Diego. Ha there is just that expectation Muscat is aggressive. He hardly cared!

On a different (and more interesting note). Who would you rather have play for the nix- Travis Dodd or Danny Allsopp?

Travis Dodd for sure - maybe not on tonight's evidence mind.

Yeah I agree- to be honest I hadn't paid that much attention of Allsopp before tonight, but having thought about it he really is pretty overrated, Dodd has played some pretty good footy so far this season. Would you take Dodd over Thompson?

Remember watching Travis Dodd as a teenager playing for the Newcastle Breakers.
A Great talent. Adelaide are lucky to have him!

1-0 win to Melbourne fulltime, Adelaide only started to look desparate in the last couple of minutes. Wouldn't mind having the last couple of hours of my life back though.

Yeah, bizarre I'd say. Adelaide's use of their extra man was hopeless too.
