people can wear or display whatever they like (within reason obviously). Obviously would prefer phoenix but it's not our place to tell others what they can and can't do.

Actually football etiquette is you wear home colours in the home end

Non-Phoenix shirts/caps have been accepted in the FZ since the first season

I don't think that a club's shield and name should be displayed  over fence/railing in the FZ

Obviously I am in a minority.

This is NZ not some tribal British crap where we go abusing people for "not wearing our colours". You've got to realise that just because there is a football culture somewhere that it won't be the same all over the world.

I went to the World Cup in Brazil in my nix shirt to every game and never got abused once. Others have been to games on Australia in nix shirts, and didn't get abused. People have worn nix tops to ASBP games and not been abused. And so on.

Also just because you consider something to be "football etiquette" doesn't mean it is right. Maybe "football etiquette" needs changing

I was not objecting to shirts!

It's football etiquette, not 'tribal Brish crap' . Any of the following displays of flags/banners/blankets would cause a reaction. An Inter flag on display at AC home 'terrace', a River Plate flag in Boca's home 'terrace',a Real flag at the Noucamp or a Nix flag anywhere at Kiwitea St

So the Nix and Liverpool have a rivalry comparable to the Milan derby, the Classico, or the Super Classico now?

If you're going to disagree with my opinion at least read my posts

It's never been about any specific club, it's my opinion regarding the display of a non-Phoenix banner/blanket in the FZ

The examples used, were a counter-argument (not an absolute truth)  to a previous post which called it 'some tribal British crap'
