I was expecting some good players not Old and Odor. They sat their and watched us play soccer against some teachers and other random people.

While they're certainly not our stars, they're still members of the team who took the time to come to your school and help promote out sport. It sounds like they could have done a better job in that it seems you're saying they didn't really engage anyone, but hey, at least they went out there, and at least you got something. Thats more than other schools get. I grew up in a country town in Australia, the only sportsman we ever got was Rod Wishart, and that was because he had business interests nearby if I remember rightly.

Martin Crowe came to St Pats once. Told us how great he was and that if we tried hard we could be as great as him. Then had a net session with the first XI while we all were herded back to class.

They're footballers, they're not being paid for their social skills! They are also two of the younger members of the squad so maybe they're as comfortable with the meeting and greeting part of the job yet as someone like Ross Aloisi would have been.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I'm not complaining as such just saying I wouldn't all rush down to HIBS only to be a bit dissapointed.
