Whole team was training today. Greenacre took full part. A new smaller goalkeeper (looked about 12) was practising with them. Kid had no chance. But at least hes there. Quite ammusing today. No water for showers along with Crowther talking to himself. And Manny got called a wife beater lol.

Hmmm.
Today didn't quite go as planned. No nix training so we had a wee kick around at newtown #2, then over to Island Bay to investigate the possibility of a sandman.
Didn't attempt it as a small plastic spade is not really suffificient to build a sand effigy big enough to put a shirt over. I think there will be some significant engineering issues to re sand cohesion when it gets big and starts to dry out.
Still it was a cracker day, we strip mined the beach of coloured pebbles, tiny shells and the odd feather and bit of seaweed (amazing what little uns will find fascinating to collect).
Plan B is for next week...

Should be early this week. They usually travel a day before the match but with the journey to Perth quite far it could be earlier. But they will probably have one on Monday Tuesday. Usually 10 30.

oh ok, I guess that they would fly out to Perth on Tuesday. Most away games they go 2 days beofre but I remember last year when they had those two big trips away to Perth they went three days before. So probably only Monday I guess, or Sunday??
