Even though WSW have an extra import spot, are they still under the same salary cap restrictions as the other clubs?
Just because they have that extra spot, it should not take away from the fact that they have recruited very well. I think that we are living proof that having import slots does not guarantee quality (we could have 23 import slots available and still be rubbish)

I completely agree. For the majority of these 8 wins in a row, they have had all of their imports on the field, and they have all made a big impact on their season (well, maybe not Kreisenger). In the same 8 games, we mostly had one of our imports starting, two not in the squad at all, and two on the bench.

Popovic & Gorman have done a great job recruiting a very experienced side. They have the same salary cap as every other team, but must be very close to using it all up. They picked up some players who were on very large contracts at other clubs. Add in Ono being outside the cap as a marquee on 700k a season.

The closer game time gets the more shit scared I'm becoming. Can we get some inspiration from the Black Sox, the Breakers (3 time minor premiership winners now) even the Hurricanes? I can't take another pasting :-( especially at the hands of them.
