Ryan
Greenacre was made head coach of the academy just a few weeks ago.

The fact that he's not over with the team in Australia might be down to quite a few things, including his role in the academy, but he potentially didn't want to spend another season away from his family.

I was just looking through the press release when he was given the role and they said that the academy has grown from 2-3 staff a few years ago to 20, so appointing people like Rory into coaching roles in the academy aren't sidelining Greenacre but is a response to the fact that Greenacre is spread too thin as he's still an assistant in the first team, and also the fact that the academy is growing.

The Academy has over 20 staff now! Wow thats a lot of resources and surely paints a rosy long term future for the club.

I guess new ALW side has seen some expansion in girls part of the Academy.
