Just a question about the poster that was linked back a page or so.... are those going to be made for each home game?
It would be good to get fresh ones to put up around work for every home game :)

They'd be crazy not to Ard Righ.
My work noticeboard is having the new one each week it comes out from now on.That space is now the Nix spot for the rest of the season!
Because of the posters, (two A3s side-by-side in my office too)
I already have 4 of my colleagues and partners coming with us over different weeks over the season. Its a talking point in my office.
The posters work.

More exposure the better... are there any ads like this apeparing in the NZ Herald and other papers around the country (what do they read in the south?)
I also noticed in today's Dom... Wellington Phoenix are mentioned in the events in the "Our Wellington" section (Page A9) :)
I was thinking the main purpose of the ads is to reach Nix fans and potential Nix fans close enough to come to the ROF for each game, so advertising in the other newspapers may not be cost effective...
but then again, what's "close enough?"
We do have devoted Nix fans coming from all corners of the country, and would be a good heads-up for anyone visiting Wellington.

Anyone seen this quiz?
I got the last one wrong!!
More media coverage:
That last one is a real bugger.... that's a decent per-game percentage
Its got a yellow box and Daniels Head, and a ball in it. You got to header the ball as many times as you can. Quite addictive. Then it advertises Sundays match. Good Work Management i say.
Don't know if this will work.

Don't know if this has been mentioned. But seen this Cool Phoenix add on Stuff.
Very clever ad. Its def.addictive.
Well done UberGunner - great marketing idea.
Nix management - thanks for listening to the fans. Hopefully, you will supply promotional posters for the rest of the season.
They have been posted up at work (on all four levels) and have certainly generated a wee bit of chat about footy, for a change.
Fingers crossed that a few of my colleagues will make it down to the ring of fire on Sun ...
Just a reminder to the Nix team to let us know as soon as the new posters for the next home game are ready, and also if they want to do a quick one for the new store opening that we can put up.
The Adelaide ad is already up.
Bumping this topic with an update. The posters work!!I put up posters for last weeks Perth game at work and in my own office, and in my car.Conversations from those posters led to people saying they would come...Despite the crap weather,4 people came with us, they all enjoyed it they said they would come back again and one of them just bought a season ticket, he enjoyed it so much! Its only one ticket, but if we all put up posters and talked to people, who knows what could happen...Thanks for the idea UberGunner, and to the Nix Marketing for delivering this great product.
I agree, these posters do work.
I had a lot of comments about the posters when I put them up, I heard a number of comments last Friday as I was walking around town in my new Phoenix shirt, and I had good feedback on Monday people asking me about the game, and even commenting they spotted me on tv... thanks to the shirt.
So two things:
1) Posters are great advertising.
2) More people need to wear the new Phoenix shirts around town. They stand out like crazy walking around town, and people recognise them as Phoenix because they're now very distinctive.
So if you have casual days at work, wear the new Phoenix shirts :)
Agreed. It is impossible not to spot the new Phoneix Gear around. But have a thick skin if you are wearing them. because, if things start not to go to plan, you can expect one hell of a ribbing. And yeah the Posters are very effective.
It's not about getting a ribbing or not (like the Wellington Lions losing to Bay of Plenty) it's about showing support for the local team regardless

Luckily, the people who usually give me a ribbing. I can tell them to f**k off.
Easy
I now have them up around work again.
Cheers to John Mitchell at the Nix for helping me out.

The posters are great and they do work. Would be cool if they had a different player every now and again to change it up and keep peoples interest?

lol yeah pretty suprising
Same for me. Picked the lowest...didn't think he got pinged so often.
10 out of 10, I am the ultimate Phoenix fan...lol
More good advertising and community work by the Phoenix, giving out free tickets to anyone at school who brings in canned food for charity
I am also the Ultimate Phoenix fan 10 from 10. Guessed the last one but hey.
10 out of 10 in 39 seconds
yes!! 10 in 32 seconds!
How many fouls will AD commit this season?!

Haha thats awesome. Marketing has been great this month!

Another idea I have had for these posters - can we please have the prices on the poster?
Almost everytime I mentioned going to someone last season they'd say "how much?".Additionally, how about targeting the 2 universities and emphasising the fact there are cheaper student tickets to be had?
Yeah informing Students of Cheaper Ticket prices is a must.

Awesome. I already have my 8 A3 posters ready to put up Monday morning.
where do we get these posters from?
You would hope a Friday night game would get a big crowd.

I just put one on the wall in front of my sh*t-house.
Seeing as my toilet is used more often than a bus-stop we should be looking at a attendance bump of at least 8 from my side.
Your welcome, phoenix.

Well something worked last Sunday, Over 10k there on a crappy type day. The posters must have helped get some in the gate. I noticed a few new season ticket holders too which is great to see.
Posters can make a difference.
havent put the next games posters out yet, everytime i find time at work, its rained. hopefully tommorrow.
