Who are the sponsors gonna be??

no one would have a phoenix playing shirt they are willing to part with would they?

I wish.

I suspect the club (or YF if they could arrange this with the club) could make some money selling playing shirts. Put Daniel in a new shirt every week and auction it off on YF (complete with grass stains) -- I'd buy one. If this idea does get picked up, please give me a discount for coming up with it! :-)

I like the idea and would be prepared to purchase one. Liverpool do something simliar where you can win a game worn shirt by various players through out the season.fuah692007-09-14 19:41:01

Went to the RYOS store to get the kiddies the scarfs that they so desperatly needed (they sleep with them by the way) and the service was very thumbs up! RECOMMEND over other sports stores and their lack of product and service ;;

Anyone know the length and width of the small mens shirt? It might fit me sweet

Zm? FFS, NewstalkZB would be a better Sponsor - Ok Piney, you can give me a fiver for that plug!!

I still want a 2XL "Away" Jersey, they look heaps better than the "Home" boring black top,  I'd just have to scrape the ZM FM off it if they were to be on it.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Those who already have Jrsys, how well do they handle after being in a washing machine, In the past some jersey's can't handle it. Any find any problems?

Sweet, am picking up my scarf from RYOS, will try on the kids XL, will be pretty strange if it fit me, but then again I am pretty thin (apart from the beer stocker)

so far no probs at all they wash really well which is good because I wear it a great deal and like to smell nice they also dry really quick which is great if you are impatiently waiting to get it off the line

Machine is fine for washing LG, but don't put them near the drier or you'll lose the A-League badge.

They dry fine and quickly in the airing cupboard.

maybe handwashing them might be better?

Turn them inside out when machine washing, it reduces wear and tear on logos, badges etc.

Granted I've only washed mine once but it doesn't seem to have been scathed by it.  I have a number of other football shirts and they're all surviving fine after multiple washes, perhaps just cricket shirts can't handle ;P

I also really like the 'Away' shirt. Also thought the Knights away shirt was better than the Home one (sorry for using the 'K' word).

I've got a Reebok football shirt from a NZ team who used to be in the A-League (is that better!), and it's been washed loads of times without any problems.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I love my snazzy grey polo (small size).  Perfect for work.  As for washing: short hand wash (particuarly around the grubby areas), followed by a quick machine spin... Stevo2007-09-20 22:33:09

Away shirts will not be sold unfortunately. Reebok said they would deliver late December which is too late. In regards to the online store we are working on it.

Away shirts available in late December wouldn't be too late. We'd still buy them - well I'd grab one anyway. Make christmas shopping a lot easier too.

Ditto. Just order the larger sizes for the festive season and ultra small kiddie sized ones for kids' presents...

Tony - you could do what Brighton did a couple of seasons ago when we finally beat the Palace at Selhurst after a long gap. Brighton had to play the game in a special one-off kit as all three kits (you have to have a third in the top two divisions) were considered to be a clash with the Palace home kit. Because we won the game in a unique kit, the club gave the fans a two week window in which to pre-order and pay for a replica shirt. At the end of the two weeks, a one-off order went off to Errea to make them. It took a couple of months for them to come through, but because they were pre-ordered the order was for the exact number required.

Put me down for three away tops (two medium and one small). Who else wants in!

All this thread needed was somebody posting a pattern to knit your own 'Nix shirt -  complete with washing instructions!

Hell yes, I'm definitely in for an Away shirt, no matter when they go on sale.

I just leave mine on the bedroom floor and next evening its clean, smelling good and hanging back up in the wardrobe. I think they may be magic.

Wouldn't go for the Tim Brown suction player. They'll just be about to package it up then it'll get injured and they won't be able to send it to you
