Trust me, Aucklanders and other New Zealanders will come along if there was end to end enterprising football like we attempt to play now.

So a bit like ACFC then?

Go to your room Junior, we want the nice Auckland people to come and play in the nice Australian sandpit with us.

Er, J82 has a point that ACFC is in no danger of bursting the bounds of the 3,000 capacity Kiwitea, even on OFC fixtures. And the reason - I've said before - that I don't go to more ACFC matches is the anti-Nix stand of the 248 Crew.

Look i know that but i'm working on my long game theory that 2 x A league franchises in NZ, (Wellinton Phoenix and Auk City FC or ACFC.02 or whatever) is only way to satisfy FFA's desire for a greater return from the NZ market. In this scenario FFA and other stakeholders would invest in marketing the A league in NZ, we'd at least have derby games, corporate Auk would get in behind, we'd find a marketer who actually knows about building football clubs and then the good people of Auckland would start following their team in the A league in greater numbers than the semi pro lot playing amateurs at Kiwitea. I'm a visionary and an idealist, ok?

Wrong thread. You want the unrealistc options thread.
