Regrettably yes. Although he's a dim-witted clown and frequently has to open wider to fit his other foot in, even HE would struggle to come up with as asinine a comment as Meredith. It's one thing to be inept and droll like Fred, its another to be actively lobbying for the removal of a club from a competition on the premise of flawed justification when one is under the employ of the official broadcaster of said competition..
