For sure the FFA have been complete bastards but im not naive enough to think that our Welnix guys cant come in for some criticism over an issue that has just dragged on for far to long.For me despite the assurances from Ernie this has to be getting in to the players heads even if they wont admit it.

What are they supposed to say? 

They can only say it hasn't been signed and are negotiating in good faith etc. - which they have done.

They could be like 'we are going to sign XYZ amazing player' but it doesn't eventuate to the frustration of fans, or just be 'we are interested in some players' and announce the signing when its completed - same situation.
