Do you want them to negotiate through bitching in the media?  Like the PFS vs FFA negotiations which was a shark storm?

Or would you rather they told us something like they are on the verge of the 10 year agreement, they just need to dot the i's and cross the t's and then have to eat their words when the FFA changes their minds?

Both of those options sound like bad ideas, and were bad ideas when they happened.  Personally Id rather they complete the deal or get it very close before they tell us.

The reality is right now the reason a deal hasn't been completed is the FFA.  If the FFA just treated us like any other club, the deal would have been completed 12 months ago, no issues.

The reality is the Welnix are having to try to figure out if the FFA's demands are feasible, and if not try and make the FFA budge,

So in what way are the Welnix open to criticism?  because the FFA havent given them enough power?  because the FFA is being unrealistic? Or for not making optimistic comments to the press knowing the FFA could screw them over?
