Just to put a downer on everybody over the great news...... Someone who has heard or read the whole presser, did the Phoenix actually thank the nix fans for their support through all of this? Here's a quote of Rob from Stuff :
"On behalf of the club I would like to acknowledge the support of the other A-League clubs and their fans who came out in the support of the Phoenix during the Save the Nix campaign. The Save the Nix campaign was an important part of the process and we are very grateful for all the support we received," Morrison said.
If they didn't then there is a starting point for them - Your own fans first.... treat us as gold [even though we are finicky and angst ridden]. I've banged on a bit before about how I think the Nix lack a bit in that department but I am happy to be proven wrong by them,
Oh cmon - please don't try and put some depressing spin on this news. It goes without saying that they thank the fans.
