If you look at it from google earth you can see Wellington has plenty of sport fields they're everywhere, Yet no room for a single rectangle stadium.
There's plenty of places you could put a 10,000 seat rectangular stadium. Not many of those places are in close proximity to transport links and bars and restaurants. And even less of those places have neighbours who would be ok with it. And that's before even asking who will pay - WelNix when the FFA won't give them any certainty about the long term future of the club? Ratepayers?
