What depresses me is that all the good will and public interest the save the Nix campaign generated has evaporated so quickly. It really felt like no one in the club (players, coaches, management) harnessed that passion. This season should have been our chance to build on that but instead we are just dying slowly. Ernie handed in his resignation twice, the players almost all seem like they don't give a shark, Des and Greenie are in over their heads, and WelNix are nowhere to be seen. We're getting our lowest crowds ever and we're back to being a joke among the general public. That 4-2 win over Adelaide in front of 13.5k at the RoF seems like another lifetime...

I agree with this too, although in theory they did recruit a strong squad on paper for this season.

I generally understand the purpose of the travelling circus from a financial perspective but I am also concerned about the execution.  I don't actually understand the point of playing games in Waikato and New Plymouth other than the fact that the matches are probably financially underwritten. The Christchurch thing was going well and then got canned.  They had nearly 10k in Hawkes Bay and then that wasn't repeated.  I think there are changes needed to the front office as the club needs a face, someone to talk it up and right now there is a big hole where that person should be.  It feels a bit rudderless

the stadium was booked and there's no alternative in Wellington.
