Here was me thinking they had asked me to something when all they really want is me to give them even more money.Wouldnt be so bad but they show buggar all appreciation when you do take part in their promotions. ie Football Fund may not have been the most successful promotion in raising money but a simple thankyou for participating would have been nice but nothing.
They will probably give away more tickets than they sell and just expect some of us tragics to actually hand over some cash.
The $55 tickets aren't aimed at tragics, they are aimed at corporates.
Nothing in the email i got suggests any of that Patrick so maybe that word on the street isnt meant for all. However if that is the case just another case of the club seemingly being unable to engage and get their message across to their fans.
Don't blame the club at all for this - they have commercial commitments to their partners, and they've pitched this event at them while keeping it open for general fans to attend the unveiling? Think you need to take your grumpy old man hat off again Steve!
