I'm avoiding all A-League related media after that loss. There was a lot of good will for the team after the first few rounds but I have no idea that everyone is on the nix out band wagon.
Actually, I lie, I listened to the 442fm podcast and they were saying that they talk to Phoenix supporters and none of them (us) could give them a reason why the Phoenix should exist. Obviously they haven't talked to Phoenix fans and are just talking crap.
I can give a number of reasons why we should exist but, sadly, none of those reasons currently revolve around on-field performance.
We now (maybe) have two and a 3/4 seasons left, unless we start winning and winning consistently and probable get very close to winning some silverware in two of those seasons.
It is doubtful those SST rumours have a lot of fact attached to them, but shark if I was in Welnix Position right now, you would think seriously about cutting your losses and getting some money back rather than just handing the whole lot over for nothing in another 2 and 3/4 years.
How long will they tolerate results from the coaching staff?
