The Nix surely aren't costing them anything, and the more teams they have not in Aus, the more space they have to expand, if their Aus teams can afford to play their players.

They are idiots, who have turned me off their league.  I used to watch every game, now I just watch the Nix.

That is all logical but it fails to account for the fact that we are an easy scapegoat for the FFA because we don't represent a block of Australian football fans/stakeholders. They use us as a lightning rod to draw attention away from other problems.
