My comments, were based on your summary of Pine's interview.
Anyway listened to the interview - and nothing changes. It's not the owners who are speaking openly about these merger/equity talks call them, what you will, it's leaks from Australia. Again they are within their rights to find cash investors from somewhere. I'm very sure they wish these stories were not out in the public domain, and for now were kept confidential. 50% of the games in Australia is plain stupid - but I don't think owners for a second are considering such a setup. Just a Chinese whisper gone mad. But yes if they did such a deal they should all just resign.
Re coaching thing, I think the slapper was their man. Down to 2 candidates, they were waiting for A League to finish blah blah. If true the guy was a complete idiot to do what he did - he'll never go close to getting a head coaching gig in the A League again.
Just sign Des and get on with it.
