I think what fans have to realise is unlike the other clubs there are 2 paths that will have a major affect on the future of our club and Welnix arn't in control of it. Path 1 is independent A-league, Path 2 is FFA run A-league. Welnix as the owner of the Phoenix need to prepare the club for both paths. I'm supportive of the actions they take, they have their hands tied because of the failing metrics and the uncertain future of the A-league. They may not be able to win every battle but I reckon they sure as hell are going to try. To me the FFA are the bad guys here, they use the the typical divide and conquer tactics of Australian media tabloids and they are masters at it with Gallop as the head.
