Slava's money is tied up here in Christchurch, so I would not think he would be keen to keep the club in Welly. At least here we would fill our small rectangular football stadium, and trans-tasman flights would not be a huge issue either.
Personally I wouldn't mind if it was moved to Chch; as long as it's not Auck, I could still feel good supporting them. They may find it tougher to attract players down there though.
