The "won't speculate on speculation" phrase was posted on this forum thread by a member but was entirely made up.
I checked because "speculate on speculation" doesn't make any sense grammatically.

It's a reply.
That's the Phoenix replying to a post by "A-League Confidential" but not a post on the Phoenix Twitter account as such.
It shows though that the Nix need to employ somebody with a better grasp of the Eglish language to manage their social media accounts.
"Speculate on speculation" doesn't make any sense !!!
