If you look at the article on stuff about the signing of Rudan the article was 50% about how Rob didn't know who he was two years ago, which doesn't really seem relevant.

For sure, some of them are cocks and their questions fudgeing embarrasing, but the club needs the media more than the media need them so Morrison should try and disguise his distaste of them.

Yep, jeeze we should be positively working to charm the media, not spitting tacks.

And no, 50% of the article was not about what Rob said.  They reported it accurately.  And with video of what he actually said.  And Rob said it, so invited it to be reported.  Rudan laughed about it.  Rob should have as well and just adopted a more positive tone and affirmed that he certainly knew him now and is impressed and pleased with the job the football committee had done with their role in the selection process. And thanked the media for turning up.

Tone matters. Especially if you want good press and that helping draw crowds. Overall, considering what a mess we've been for years, I thought the media gave us a pretty positive and comprehensive write up.

And, p.s. the current headings for the two stuff articles i've read are:

Wellington Phoenix get it right with appointment of Mark Rudan

and

Wellington Phoenix appoint former Sydney FC captain Mark Rudan as new head coach
