This is an interesting aspect of the Kiwi vs import debate. If a high profile A League player is simply using one of the less glamorous sides (all due respect) as a stepping stone, just how much is their commitment going to be when the going gets tough? At least a local player is going to be more inclined to play for local pride, isn't he?

More like busting a gut for Gamiero but it is win win for last 6 games :>). Not sure he is much higher level than A league. Wasnt loaned out to Championship for instance...
