However, I do hope that we don't get Youth players just because we have to. Our policy on youth players hasn't been the bast, in my opinion.
Costa has probably been the most utilized youth player and he hasn't got much game time at all. Magic Marco is very young, sure, but players are there for a reason.
Youth players should be 'wild cards', not just muppets.
Wasn't Hearfield a youth player when we got him? I think he's a bit more than a muppet. And where are we magically going to get super youth players that can start for us day in day out? They need to be developed - and we can't do that without a youth team.. Hopefully next season we will have one and then we might see younger players developing into first-teamers.
