Just, where is the evidence that Smeltz's missus hated Wellington so much and desperately wanted to leave? All rumour isn't it. I mean, Smeltz missus probably would prefer Gold Coast climate to Wellingtons, who wouldn't. But I wouldn't think Smeltz is 'on the whip' as such to her and he does whatever she wants him to.
